Your use of Luani is also governed by our Privacy Policy and, where applicable, our Consumer Health Privacy Policy.
Luani is designed to support wellness, self-tracking, and education. It is not a healthcare provider, medical device, diagnostic tool, treatment service, method of contraception, fertility treatment, or emergency service.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Luani. If the laws where you live require a higher minimum age, you must meet that requirement before creating an account or using the app.
You can create an account using email or another supported sign-in method.
We may ask you to verify your identity before completing certain account actions, such as deleting your account or changing sensitive account information.
Luani gives you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable licence to use the app for your personal, non-commercial use.
Luani includes features for cycle awareness, fertility awareness, pregnancy, postpartum, journaling, symptoms, habits, reminders, moon insights, and other wellness tools.
Some features may vary depending on your device, operating system, location, subscription, permissions, or third-party services.
We may add, improve, change, suspend, or remove features at any time.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Your App Store account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store account settings.
Luani is provided for wellness and educational purposes only.
Luani is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition.
Information provided by Luani, including predictions, fertility estimates, symptom insights, pregnancy information, postpartum content, reminders, nutrition guidance, movement recommendations, and other wellness content, is generated from the information available to the app and may not always be accurate, complete, or appropriate for your circumstances.
Do not rely on Luani to prevent pregnancy, diagnose pregnancy, confirm ovulation, diagnose medical conditions, or make healthcare decisions.
Always seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional regarding symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, fertility, pregnancy, medications, supplements, exercise, nutrition, postpartum recovery, or other health concerns.
If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services or seek immediate medical care.
Luani includes an optional AI-powered assistant that can provide information, help you navigate Luani, and provide personalized cycle and wellness support.
When you use Luani AI, responses are generated using artificial intelligence and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your circumstances. AI-generated responses may vary even when similar questions are asked.
Luani AI is provided for general informational and wellness purposes only. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency services. You should not rely on Luani AI to diagnose a condition, determine whether you are pregnant, confirm ovulation, prevent pregnancy, or make medical or healthcare decisions.
When you choose to use Luani AI, your messages and relevant information needed to generate a response may be processed by our AI service provider, OpenAI. How information is processed and shared when you use Luani AI is explained in our Privacy Policy.
We may modify, limit, suspend, or discontinue Luani AI or its capabilities at any time.
You may not:
Use Luani AI or other features to generate or facilitate unlawful, harmful, abusive, or fraudulent activity.
Some Luani features rely on services provided by your device or third parties, including Apple Health, Oura, Google Health Connect, weather providers, notifications, and operating system features.
We cannot guarantee that these services will always be available, accurate, or operate without interruption.
You are responsible for managing permissions through your device settings.
Luani may allow you to connect third-party wellness services, including Oura, to import information such as sleep, activity, readiness, heart rate, temperature trends, or other data you choose to share. By connecting a third-party service, you authorize Luani to access the data you have permitted through that service. Your use of connected services is also subject to the applicable third party’s terms and privacy policy. You can disconnect a connected service at any time through Luani or the third-party service, though some features may no longer be available.
You keep ownership of the information you record in Luani.
You are responsible for the journals, notes, symptoms, reminders, cycle information, pregnancy information, and other content you choose to store.
You agree not to upload or share content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, fraudulent, or infringes the rights of others.

Some actions cannot be undone.
If you export or share your information outside Luani, you are responsible for how it is stored, protected, and shared.

We may change, limit, suspend, or discontinue these programs at any time, including where fraud, abuse, or misuse is suspected.
You agree to use Luani lawfully and responsibly.

Luani, including its software, branding, design, graphics, content, features, and underlying technology, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

If you choose to send us feedback, suggestions, feature requests, or ideas, you agree that we may use them without restriction or compensation to you.
From time to time, Luani may offer preview, beta, or experimental features.
These features may change, contain errors, or be discontinued without notice and may not be available to every user.
Luani is provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, prediction accuracy, compatibility with every device, or the continued availability of every feature.
Maintenance, software updates, technical issues, or third-party services may occasionally affect the availability of the app.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Luani and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.
Where liability cannot legally be excluded, it is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws.
You may stop using Luani or delete your account at any time.
We may suspend or terminate access if required by law, to protect users, maintain the security of the service, investigate fraud or abuse, or enforce these Terms.
Sections that are intended to continue after your account ends, including intellectual property, feedback, liability, and governing law, will remain in effect.
These Terms of Use, together with our Privacy Policy, Consumer Health Privacy Policy (where applicable), and any additional policies or notices referenced within them, constitute the entire agreement between you and Luani regarding your use of the app and supersede any prior agreements relating to your use of the Services.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, unless the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country provide additional rights that cannot legally be excluded.
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time.
If we make material changes, we will update the effective date shown at the top of this page.
By continuing to use Luani after those changes take effect, you agree to the updated Terms.
